About the Role

SavvyWise Workforce is recruiting a Quality Control Manager for a structural steel fabrication and conveyor facility in Burlington, Wisconsin. This is a senior QC leadership role overseeing all quality management systems, welding procedures, certifications, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures

• Monitor and enforce welding standards, certifications, and compliance requirements

• Conduct inspections and audits of fabricated steel and conveyor components

• Partner with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues

• Maintain documentation and records for customer and regulatory compliance

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes

• Train fabrication staff on quality standards and procedures

• Ensure compliance with AISC and applicable industry standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

• Strong background in structural steel fabrication and welding procedures

• Familiarity with AISC standards, welding certifications (AWS, CWI preferred), and OSHA requirements

• Experience managing quality documentation and audits

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Compensation

• Salary: $110,000 – $115,000 (based on experience)

• Full-time, on-site

• Location: Burlington, WI
