About the Role

SavvyWise Workforce is recruiting three Mechanical / Design Engineers for a conveyor systems and material handling engineering firm in Buffalo, New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects from conceptual design through construction and installation, with a focus on conveyor systems for the mining and aggregate industries.

Travel: Minimal, but required at times during fabrication and installation phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual through constructible detailed design of conveyor systems and structures

• Perform design analysis, calculations, equipment selection, and layout development

• Conduct site evaluations and interact directly with clients

• Coordinate with fabrication and construction teams throughout project lifecycle

• Support projects through construction completion and servicing phases

• Assist with material handling system design and conveyor structures

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of mechanical or design engineering experience

• Conveyor systems design experience strongly preferred

• Mining or aggregate industry experience preferred

• Proficiency in Autodesk Suite: Inventor, Vault, and BIM 360

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• MSHA or aggregate industry certifications a plus

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering

• OR: Technical mining education with equivalent hands-on experience

Compensation

• Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 (based on experience)

• Full-time, on-site

• Location: Buffalo, NY

• Travel: Minimal – as needed during fabrication and installation
