Financial Specialist - Crystal River, FL
Location: Crystal River, Florida
Type: Full-time | On-site
We are seeking a Financial Specialist to join a skilled nursing facility network in Crystal River, Florida. This role handles billing, accounts receivable (AR), and collections.
Responsibilities:
- Manage facility billing operations and ensure timely submission of claims
- Oversee accounts receivable and collections processes
- Work with MDS data to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with insurance companies, Medicare/Medicaid, and other payers
- Generate financial reports and analysis
Qualifications:
- Accounting degree preferred
- MDS (Minimum Data Set) experience preferred
- Experience with healthcare billing, AR, and collections
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement processes
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency with financial software and healthcare billing systems
