This on-site civil-engineering position supports projects from concept through final design.Responsibilities• Import topographic surveys and create 3D surface models.• Create and revise exhibits.• Prepare initial drafts of proposed improvements with direction from a Project Engineer or Project Manager.• Set up plan sheets and complete plan-production work.• Complete mark-up corrections accurately and on schedule.• Support private site development, public utility, roadway, and structural-plan projects.Requirements• Associate degree in a civil-engineering-related field.• Professional experience with CAD software.• Ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed.• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.• Ability to work on-site in Newark, Ohio. Relocation assistance is not available.Four or more years of site-design and drafting experience is strongly preferred. MicroStation and GEOPAK experience is also preferred.Compensation and Benefits$29.40 - $33.60 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
